The perfect weekend away

The 2020 Jazz & Classical Encounters Festival Vol 2 @ Spier Amphitheatre featuring some of the best South African jazz and classical artists in a feast of contemporary music, takes place on Saturday November 28, 2020.

The one-day festival at Spier Estate Amphitheatre in Stellenbosch begins at 1pm and will touch souls with a mix of jazz and classical icons for the next eight hours. The must-see event includes refreshment breaks and a chance to absorb the exquisite atmosphere of the estate.

All COVID-19 regulations will be in place to make your concert experience safe and secure, and guests are reminded to arrive earlier to allow for COVID-19 registration (health questionnaire) and temp check (as per Government Regulations) to take place – as from 11h30

Free parking for patrons at Vineyards (10 to 15 min walk to Amphitheatre)

Food and drinks available for purchase at the venue

Snapscan method of payment only at the food/drink sales during the concert (cash free venue) Limited credit cards machines will be available

Important….. guests to bring Hats/Sunblock as there is no shading in the Amphitheatre. Bring a jersey/jacket for the evening

Sadly Spha Mdlalose will not be part of this incredible line-up. Spha is recovering from a short illness and is no longer available – jazz vocalist and pianist Nomfundo Xaluva will be filling in.
