Anne is a familiar name in the arts and entertainment industry – she is a multi-camera television director, producer and television consultant and has considerable experience in front of the camera and microphone too.

Television directing career highlights include Opening & Closing Ceremonies All Africa Games, Paul Simon In South Africa, Miss World, Jean Michel Jarre At The Lost City, Aida – Operama and South Africa 2000 Millennium Broadcast. She has been the recipient of two Artes awards, two Star Tonight awards and an NTVA Award, in addition to nine other award nominations.

She was one of South Africa’s first television continuity announcers and has presented numerous television magazine programmes.  In the medium of radio, she has worked  for SAfm as arts reviewer and programme presenter as well as a longstanding newscaster and entertainment reviewer for 5fm.

Anne has lectured at the University of the Witwatersrand School of Arts in both Drama and Television divisions and is a sessional lecturer at the University of Johannesburg.

Educated in Grahamstown, South Africa, Anne holds BA (Speech and Drama/ English) from Rhodes University and teaching qualifications from Trinity College, London.
